In May 2009 aged 41 years and after 26 years in the Manufacturing Industry I suddenly found myself unemployed. Having left school at 16, I had no formal education behind me. The future looked very bleak indeed. However instead of thinking this is the end, I decided to look at it as a new beginning a time to start over. I always had a great interest in Irish Law and decided that I would love to do a Legal Secretarial Course. I will be forever grateful the day that I met Bríd and Caragh from the Pitman Training Group at their stand in the South Court Hotel in Limerick.
Pitman Training opened up a world of opportunities to me. It was encouraging and inviting. The team empowered me throughout my time there. I was continuously motivated and inspired to achieve my best. Pitman Training Limerick was accommodating and flexible and I enjoyed my time there. After completing my Legal Secretarial Diploma, I have now decided that I am not ready to part company with Pitman so I plan to continue my education by completing a course to obtain an Executive PA Diploma.
The training was made all the more enjoyable thanks to the wonderful support received from Denise Duggan, Limerick Branch Manager, Denise always gave her time and knowledge freely. Thanks Denise and thank you Pitman for making a dream a reality.
