In January 2015, I started a Diploma in HR Assistant at Pitman Training Naas; I had little or no experience in how to use a computer and no administration skills. It was a very nervous time for me and the support I received from the course supervisors was unbelievable, nothing I had experienced before. Pitman Training delivers a very professional training service and because of this I was able to achieve my goal which was to complete a Diploma in HR.
Under their supervision, I learnt so many different skills and received individual certification for all my modules passed and then I received my Diploma. When it came to sitting the exams the support I received was remarkable allowing me to remain positive and focused.
Studying with Pitman has allowed me to apply for HR positions and I was successful, earlier in the year I was offered a position as a Career Supervisor/HR Assistant. I was told at the time studying and up-skilling is favored among employers.
I would recommend Pitman Training to anyone considering returning to adult education, whether you have computer skills or not, as the training you will receive, I can say for certain you will not get anywhere else. I will most certainly be returning to complete other courses available. Also to add, the payment plan and course rota set out for me meant I could still work and pay off my course fees monthly. The centre is open most of the evenings until 9 pm and even open on Saturdays.
