Internship after studying Medical Secretarial Diploma
After many years working in the hospitality sector I decided I needed a change of career. I got on the internet and searched for courses that were flexible and could be completed around my current working hours and commitments. I discovered Pitman Training and I am so grateful to them!
I contacted the nearest centre to me in Mullingar and arranged to meet their course advisor, Vera, She was very helpful and guided me towards the course that would be beneficial to me. That was the Medical Secretary Diploma course. I am delighted to say that I have this course completed and with thanks to my new skills and qualification and also the help that I received with my CV and mock interviews I have secured an internship with Longford/Westmeath General Hospital. Hopefully at the end of the internship I will be able to secure a full time job with them. I am delighted to be on the ladder of success working with the HSE.
